Second Lifen dirua irabazteko moduetako bat kasinoetan "camping" egitea izan ohi da. Kasino batera joan, makina horietako batean eseri, 10L$ ordaindu eta bertan eserita egotea. Hamar minuturo 3 edo 4L$ ordainduko dizute horregatik. Baina ezer egin gabe eserita egotea nahiko aspergarria izan ohi denez, ordenagailuan beste gauza batzuk egiten egotea gomendatzen dizut. Edo bestela, "away" egoera itzaltzea. Hori baita "kanpeatzearen" arazo nagusiena. Aktibitate falta badago, aulkitik bota egiten zaituztela.

* Land owners can always fly on their parcel (unless the entire sim restricts flight)
* Fixed a bug that caused the Create Group dialog to discard all data if the group name already exists
* Resolved numerous issues with scroll lists causing information not to load or be displayed improperly
* Group contribution no longer displayed as a negative number
* Mainland parcels now displayed in map overlay regardless of your location
* Residents can now retrieve no-modify objects they own from other people's parcels
* Resolved several exploits

Badirudi dena nahasten dela. Hona hemen Loogic-en topatu dudan BloggerSecondlife. Blogak sortzeko tresna eta ataria, Second Lifen dabiltzanek kasinotan ibili baino zerbait gehiago egin dezaten.

Irakurritakoek ez dute gehiegi merezi, baina dena dela, hor daude.

Second Lifera iristen den edonork duen lehenengo galdera izan ohi da "eta orain, zer egin behar dut?". Mundu guztia duzu zure aurrean eta ez dakizu nondik hasi. Zure inguruan dauden zu bezalako izaki galduak topatzen dituzu eta ezin diezu haiei galdetu. Ez baitakite ezer.

Horregatik, bilatzailea benetan erabilgarria suertatzen da. Zertarako? Ba lekuak, pertsonak, taldeak, iragarki klasifikatuak, lur salmentak, gertakizunak eta nahi duzun adina non dagoen jakiteko eta bertara teletransportatzeko.

qavimator-ekin euskal dantzak egiten

Lehengoan, eta kasualitatez ia beti bezala, QAvimator programa topatu nuen. Kode askea du, eta oraindik alpha egoeran izan arren, nahiko ondo dago. Zertarako? Second Lifen animazioak egiteko. Eta zer arraio, igande arratsalde batean ondo pasatzeko.

Zertan ibili nintzen? Tontoarena egiten. Euskal dantzak ez dira sekula nire trebetasunetako bat izan. Arin-arina ere ez dakit dantzatzen (fandagoan gelditu nintzen, lehenengo ikasgaian) baina lagunei ikusitakoa gogoratzen saiatu nintzen. Honela jaio zen euskal dantza1 animazioa. Nire lehenengo animazioa. Eserlekutik zutituz, mugimendua ahal zen einean gogoratuz eta ordenadore aurrean berriz eseriz X, Y, Z ardatzekin liatuz... Arratsalde euritsu baterako sekulako entretenimendua.

hitz arrotzak I

Second Lifen erabiltzen diren zenbait hitz arrotz egingo zaizkio erabiltzailerari iritsi bezain pronto.

Avatar (abatar euskaraz?): beno, tira, hau ez da hain arrotza. Zu islatzen zaituen panpina da.
Grid: Mundua, hau bezain sinplea. Eta hau bezain konplikatua era berean.
HUD: ingelesez Heads Up-Display delakoa. Zure pantailara atxikitzen den objektu bat da, zure avatar-era atxikitu ordez. Bideo azalpena hemen.
Landmark: Leku interesgarriak markatzeko tresna. Inbentorioan gordetzen da eta nahi duzunean (edo funtzionatzen duenean itzuli zaitezke bertara).
Script: objektuen zerbait egin dezaten (berdin du zer) script bat izan behar dute. Programazioa da eta Second Lifen erabiltzen den programazio hizkuntzan egina dago (LSL, Linden Scripting Language)

Bideo hau nahiko ezaguna egin da. Four Eyed Monsters film independientearen estreinua egin zen Second Lifen, eta egileek bideo hau oparitu ziguten, Second Life zer den hobeto ulertzeko, nahiz eta ingelesez egon.
